    I had an issue just like yours and after spending all day going back and forth with EA Origin and the swtor support team. We finally found out the problem and it was that my swtor email was the same as my EA Origin account and their supposed to be different email accounts for each one. As soon as I changed my swtor email to a different one and confirmed the confirmation link in the new email I put in. I was able to buy the united forces 30-day premium pack without any more errors and failed purchases.

Cant Purchase Cartel Coins. Same message as the people above.  Cant call because there is an endless busy signal.  Sent a ticket in through Character and still no answer yet.  Is this game shutting down like Marvel heroes?

@Redgriffen Looks like there were some more phone issues yesterday specifically with the US line. The phone lines should be open now as scheduled, but I'll chase up the issues with the US line to see what's going on. I can check your SWTOR account in the meantime just to see if there's anything else. What's your SWTOR Display Name?
