[SWTOR] Black screen on first launch, windows fails to load on restart.
My problem:
I've been playing SWTOR for quite some time, never had any issues aside from slow loading times, but this problem has me worried.
I just got a new PC and downloaded all my games onto it, including SWTOR, but once I ran the game this happened:
First: my screen goes black, like it's loading up the game and company logos
Then I can hear the audio from the logos and opening video
After that... silence. No sound, no video, nothing.
I try using key commands like ALT + Enter and ALT + Tab, nothing happens.
I restart my computer, like normal I see the boot-up page with some system specs on it and the windows logo with the loading icon.
But then the screen goes black and I can't hear/see anything.
I have to restart it several times before windows opens the Advanced Tools menu, where I try every option (aside from resetting my computer) until System Recovery manages to fix my issue.
Being the way I am, I try downloading the game and running it again, thinking it might have been a one-time-thing. It was not..
The same issue listed above occurred, and I had to restore my system again...
I don't know how or why this is happening, I am looking for any help I can get. Please comment below if you know anything that can help me.

Please let me know if you need more/different information, I'll try to provide.
Try just updating the video driver Initially from www.amd.com
if that doesnt help , if you have another monitor to connect as a test, see if this persists with a different monitor connected.
Use CRU (Link) to create an override for the monitor resolution and set only that resolution and frequency and things should start to behave
