SWTOR: Cannot subscribe neither with a card, nor with PayPal

I have been trying to subscribe to SWTOR for the past 2-3 days.

I have tried 3 different debit cards (VISA & MasterCard) and I have also tried PayPal.

None of these options worked.

What is weird is that I used be a subscriber until October 2020 (with one of the cards I have been trying) and have now returned, but just cannot get it work.

I have reset EA account passwords and tried everything I could find online, but without success so far.

Display name: mapata

Account status: Preferred

Account created: 08.15.12

Please help?

    @mpmihaylov 

    To fix the account You need to reset the password on the linked EA account that account has the persona martopapata (not Mpmihaylov your posting on now) that EA account uses a Yahoo email (swtor account uses a different email address)

    use the following link to reset the password then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing

    for future purchases, use incognito mode on chrome initially if you purchase on swtor.com to be sure browser cache and cookies is cleared

    @proxos666 Hello, I've run into a similar problem. I can’t pay for a subscription with any card, it says that it doesn’t accept a card, I tried Visa and Master Card. with all this, at different stages of payment, it indicates to me different currencies for payment.

    Good News : Ok your Swtor account is disabled , now that issue can be fixed with a password reset on the linked EA account maxjellyfish

    To fix the account You need to reset the password on the linked EA account that account has the persona maxjellyfish (not PantherUm your posting on now) that EA account uses a mail.ru email address

    use the following link to reset the password then login on that EA account to fix the swtor account for purchasing 

    Bad News : Due to https://www.ea.com/news/update-on-electronic-arts-titles-in-russia-and-belarus  you cant purchase on EA or Swtor directly 

    Good News :  Once your Account is active again per the password reset step mentioned , if you link that swtor account to steam per https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/star-wars/star-wars-the-old-republic/swtor-on-steam   it will subscribe you on your swtor account ( just be sure to play via steam and log out before purchasing on steam )

    @proxos666 I roughly understand the situation. I am aware of the payment blocking in Russia and Belarus, but at the moment I live in the EU country, for quite a long time, because of this, in general, I don’t even have access to mail ru, and the account of that mail was deleted, according to certain reasons for moving to another country.
    Is there any way to link the account with which I write and gmail mail to the game account? I changed the mail in the game profile on the site, but as I understand it, it does not matter in this situation.

    @proxos666 this account from which I am writing is the main EA account that I have been using for a long time and it has Steam and other platforms in particular.
