SWTOR deleted some of my characters because of an "issue with character load"

Last month I decided to restart playing swtor after not playing for about 3 years. When I started playing I got in 3 in game messages that said " We have detected that this character has been affecte...

      I checked your account and characters yesterday and today, just to make sure there wasn't any temporary loading or syncing issues.

      What I found was that there are no deleted characters on your account at all. I'm not exactly sure why the game would send you a deleted character mail, I've never even seen that before.

      If you remember having more characters, they might be on another account.

        I've never made more than one account and I know I'm missing characters not just because of what I've already said but most visibly because I don't have a tauntaun anymore. As dumb as this is, my friends and I worked hard to earn them and I remember because my friend was riding one yesterday... is there anything that can be done?
