SWTOR Launcher Isn't Working
My brother took a 2 year break from swtor and now he can't play it. He used to use the launcher from the website, but for whatever reason it won't so much as open the launcher. It doesn't appear to be running in the background when I open task manager. We tried downloading it off of steam, and the launcher runs. But when he tries to sign in it says something like 'make sure you are using the same account that you usually use steam with.' His email that is linked is the same one that he used to use. From what I saw it should automatically link accounts the first time he uses the steam version, but clearly it doesn't. And I can't find how to manually link them. I changed the password, still same thing. Changed email, still same. He runs windows 11. I am not a computer guy at all and this is all very frustrating, I don't care if we can get it working on steam or not, I just want the damn game to run. I already changed something in game data, d3dfullscreen from true to false, still nothing. I've troubleshot the launcher, ran as administrator, checked drivers for updates [none needed], I don't know what else to do. Been trying for 2 days now, any help would be appreciated.
