SWTOR Launcher says login service is down, while the site says it isn't- HELP

I'm not sure if this is a bug, but its really annoying and I WANT to play SWTOR, I had reinstalled the game due to errors caused by my graphics card and now it won't even consider logging in because someone screwed up a line of code somewhere. Does anyone have any answers as to how (or even if) I can fix this because its not listed anywhere as a regular problem. I live on the US West coast if that helps for locating the region.
