SWTOR Launcher stuck at Installing Main Assets 211 (0%)

Hello!

So I recently came back to SWTOR, just resubscribed. The last update I had installed was the launcher update. I am trying to have the game update now, but it has been stuck at "Installing Main Assets 211 (0%)" for about two hours now. Everything before main assets 211 installed fine, it is just stuck at that part. I have closed / reopened the launcher, and it works fine right up until it tries to instal Main Assets 211.

I am not sure what to do, help would be very appreciated as I really want to start playing again. I want to be able to use my subscription time, not having it waste away by not even being able to launch the game. ☹️

I don't have any firewalls, antivirus, etc. preventing the install, seeing as it was able to update each patch up until this most recent patch.

    If this is an SSN install and it has what appears to be a repair loop (ie repair the same files over and over , I have found it is less stressful to delete the asset folder and all patch folders and start from scratch.

    I gather this is the non streaming launcher ? (not using bitraider)

    If this was an old install did you ever remove the loadingscreen.jpg ? 

    First with the launcher closed right mouse click on the game shortcut and select open file location , initially delete the file called retailclient_swtor.version then start the launcher.

    See if that has an affect on the download

    I think it might be. Bitrader is in the swtor folders, and is installed, but doesn't show up in task manager as running. And yes I have changed loading screen image in the past, though it never caused an issue. Every time an update would come out, it would just reset the loading screen image back to default.

    I'll try that, thank you. I couldn't get the launcher to continue downloading no matter what. Eventually it started downloading main assets 226, had an error to repair 49 files, and is now repeating the process.. Haha. At this point I might as well reinstall the whole game.

    Yeah, I just uninstalled and reinstalled it after it failed like 3 more times. Thank you for your help! I appreciate it.
