SWTOR Legacy Menu Crashes Game

Hello all, so ever since 5.5.1a, I've had MAJOR issues with some things, increased graphical lag, but it's not too bad, the real issue is the Legacy Menu. Everytime I open it, it opens, works for about 10 seconds, than crashes. This last time, I watched 10 minutes pass and it didn't unfreeze. I couldn't tab out, couldn't use alt+f4 to close it, had to use ctrl alt del to get it to get the task manager so I could close the game. I have deleted the BitRaider folder, removed it from the recycle bin, wiping it off my pc completely, restarted the launcher, it did a full verification, didn't install anything, git back in the game, turned my graphics down to very low (keep in mind I can run this game on high at about 30 fps), opened the legacy menu again, same result. Works for 10 seconds, than crashes. Is there any help out there please? Other than a reinstall? Am I the only one experiencing this?

Can you attach a dxdiag per this link to this thread as well

Edit - go to the following location with the launcher and game not running

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\BioWare\Star Wars-The Old Republic\swtor

Delete the file called Diskcachearena then start the launcher

if this doesnt help will definately need to look at the dxdiag, this does not appear to be a server side issue.

Thank you! Deleting the Diskcachearena file seems to have fixed it, but I'm going to keep this thread open for the rest of the day just incase it happens again.
  • Alright, so I've spent all day opening my and other players' legacy menus, and not a single crash. Thanks for helping me fix this issue!
