This test server has reopened old wounds for me " Remember when your ping was this good? Here it is again"
- Compared to an existing server, how is the performance? Simply put, it hasn't been this SMOOTH since playing on Mastar Dar’Nala back in the day... Abit of "clunkiness" when I played a warzone but that seemed to be the same when I remembered how it was back on Dar'Nala.
- Any specific areas or planets where you feel the performance has lessened? Traveled to most planets and nothing out of the ordinary. Just felt a lot smoother and I think that's got to do with latency.
- What region/country do you reside in? Western Australia
- Provide a comparison of ping from existing servers to Shae Vizla. Shae Vizla is 42 ms to 77 ms, Satele Shan is 350 ms to high 480 ms
- Is grouped content working properly? Yes
- How quickly can you get into a match or Flashpoint you’ve accepted? GSF was about 10 seconds, Flashpoint were instant as I'm a healer, Arena took about 10 minutes.
- Is travel to any location (planet, Stronghold, Fleet, etc…) hindered? Nope. Very smooth
- Are there any issues with the UI such as missing assets or loss of functionality? NGL, I've stopped playing after KotET so all the new interface editor was a learning curve
- Are there any issues with visuals or sounds with the cinematics? None
I'm really excited about this test. Here's hoping that the APAC server comes live very very soon after the end of this test! I know a few of us would gladly come back to this. We're over WoW.
