There is an issue with your Electronic Arts account

I am having an issue with my EA account where I have been unable to make any purchases. I have tried changing my account or trying to link the account somewhere, but I have not seen any way to do this. My SWTOR account name is Clonemajor, and this has a different name, so maybe that is the problem. Any advice would be helpful.

    Sorry to hear you're having an issue with your account, unfortunately as this is an account issue we can't help directly with it here on the forum for a number of reasons including account security and so for that you need to get in touch with SWTOR support direclty and they'll be able to look into this for you.

    Get in touch with SWTOR support, they should be able to look into this with you and figure out what needs to be done to get you back up and running and into the game.

    Let us know how it goes and if theres anything else we can help you with.

    I had the same issue, so after spending much time trying to contact support or find out what the problem was, I decided to log in to my EA account which, while doing so I realised it had been a good 10 years since I made the account, when I finally logged in to it, all of my info was out of date.

    Just log in to that account, update and verify your current info, then you should be able to purchase.  You dont need to update payment info in EA unless of course you were paying through that account.

    Updating and verifying fixed the EA account issue for me.

    @mikefeett are you still running into this problem or were you able to get it sorted with Support?
