Tiny cursor, text, launcher and Icons

I'm sadly not experienced with Macs so not sure how much help this will be, but I think that you can get your in-game resolution (and launcher resolution) back to a fairly normal size with two steps. The first part is sorting out your launcher and game window size by altering your client_settings.ini file (as found here). I'mma paste the steps from that post here, to save you having to hunt them down:

The next thing you may need to do is check and see if your Mac's default resolution settings are in agreement with your graphics driver's (and, of course, the game's). Check to see if your settings are being overridden/managed by any program in particular for starters (make sure you're running SWTOR as an administrator). 

If everything went well, by now things should look more normal! You might need to adjust your overall User Interface if certain text or other parts of your HUD are still teeny. I think it's the Global Scale if you just want to enlarge everything, or if you have problems with individual elements you can alter their size separately by clicking on them one by one and configuring their scale.

Thank you so much for the in-depth response! I tried editing the client_settings file, but everything seemed to match what was required. I'm interested in your second suggestion, but how do I check if my Mac's resolution settings are in agreement with the drivers? This would make sense as the Mac volume icon is affected. Thanks!

2 options as this looks like a 4k screen

Lower the resolution on the MAC to something like 1920 x 1080 or 2560 x 1440 before playing

otherwise you can enlarge the UI ingame , cant do anything for the launcher

The UI size can be increased further then the in-game scaler allows (1.25) but needs to be done for each UI profile used

•Press the [Windows] Key + [R] at the same time. •Copy the following in to the text box and press ok: %localappdata%\swtor\swtor\settings

Go to the folder called GUIProfiles , these are your UI settings for each character .

Now in these you will find a section like below, now this says global scale is set to 1.1 , set this to say 1.500000

Hi! No, not a 4k display, just a 2014 MacBook Retina. That is currently my fix, increasing the UI, however the text remains small and the cursor is still tiny- the cursor being so small means that It's hard to select enemies quickly and it's less easy to be precise.

Thank you to everyone who has had suggestions! However, I'm still struggling :/ Any more thoughts?

if just lowering resolution ingame does not help then try one of the scaled resolutions like listed at this link and match ingame

hello im having the same issue, on PC, 1080p normal screen,  but tiny undreadable UI. i tried changing the resolution but the UI stays extremely small its unplayable.  lowering resolution ingame does not help. neither the pc's resolution settings which are fine. thnaks anyway have a nice day

try creating a monitor override using cru - https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-Custom-Resolution-Utility-CRU 

just select your deafult resolution of 1920 x 1080 and  see if that resolves the issue 

otherwise if this monitor is connected by a HDMI cable , if you have the ability to use like DVI it is worth trying too
