Transparent Skin Bug

Hello, today I logged in to level my Jedi Guardian (Clarraa, SS), when I had a bug. Apparently, my skin on my characters were Transparent. ALL OF EM. I don't know why or how this happened, but I asked around. Other people are having this issue, too. Even people with WAY higher end PC's than mine are. I've so far found 9 cases just the same as mine, it only occurs when bloom is on. I've had Bloom on for months with no issue, then all of a sudden today it just starts bugging out. It only happens on the Log-in screen and in Cutscenes. Any fixes out there?

    I upgraded to Windows 10 yesterday, after learning that Windows 7 Support was ending in under 18 Months. Ever since I upgraded, I haven't had this issue again, but now there's another issue I'm having, it's unrelated to this thread, though.

    Alright, then I'm gonna log off for the night, it's 10:34 my time, starting to get tired, I'll check this thread again in the morning for any new posts.

    Can you Set AntiAliasing (AA) to medium and see if there is any change , I should of said AA instead of shadows 😳

    @proxos666 AA is set to medium already, I can't run it any higher because it destroys my frame rate. I've tried it with AA off, too. Still no change.

    Curious about something though, what asset are the model textures stored in; in the game files? My thinking is if I delete that file, the Launcher will detect it's missing, and reinstall the entire asset. Probably a HORRIBLE idea, but I'm willing to do almost anything at this point.

    Will need more then one case to refer this to the studio unfortunately.

    I do not know which file those assets are in apart from the asset folder, given no one else is reporting this issue, it certainly could be a file issue.

    I guess the only way to find out is try a re-install worst case.  I am away now until Saturday , hope this works out for you.

    I'll see if there are any more cases around, but I have hope this should be fixed tomorrow hopefully.

  • Alright, since the Patch today, I have not encountered the issue again. So, this leads me to believe that this WAS a File issue, and the patch fixed it. So I am going to close this thread and pass it off as a File issue. If it happens again, I will reopen the thread, (not create a new one, just toggle off the solution thing). But for now, it's stopped happening. I've toggled bloom off several times and it has not reoccurred.

  • Okay, now it's happening again. *sigh*

    EDIT: It has only happened once so far. I've tried to recreate it with no success.

  • Alright, it's back again today, and it's not going away. Toggling Bloom off and back on doesn't help.

    @Zinnn33

    It is bizarre it is coming and going , how are the temps when that occurs ?

    Hate to say this but have you done a complete new install to ensure there isnt something funky with the files
