updates going to C drive instead of D drive

so I've installed SWTOR on my D drive but for some reason all the updates (at least thats what I'm guessing) seem to be going onto my C drive which is pretty much full and I had to delete some stuff when it did get full as it was causing the games graphics 2 plummet to lowest setting and kept crashing to desktop. How the hell do I sort this nonsense out?

What do you mean by all of the updates? Are you seeing your game installation (Launcher.exe, Assets folder, etc) on your D drive? What sort of SWTOR files and folders are you seeing being downloaded/installed onto your C drive?

  • pretty much everything to do with SWTOR is on my D drive yet my C drive keeps randomly losing more and more memory until it gets to the point where I have such little space on my C drive it causes my SWTOR game to have its graphics plummet to lowest setting along with rather often crashing to desktop during loading.

have you actually worked out what files are consuming space on C drive ?

How is your temp folder size ?

    1. Press the Windows Button + R to open the "Run" dialog box.
    2. Enter this text: %temp%
    3. Click "OK." This will open your temp folder.
    4. Press Ctrl + A to select all.
    5. Press "Delete" on your keyboard and click "Yes" to confirm.
    6. All temporary files will now be deleted.
  • what are the temporary files? cuz I have no idea and dont wanna delete something I need
