Vette is not on Sith Warrior starship

Hi, I'm playing as a Sith Warrior. When I first got my starship she was in the same area as the helper droid companion, however, after more progress in the story line shes not on the Starship anymore. I only see the helper droid. She is not crafting (they can craft?) She is not doing a crew skill mission. Another weird issue is that when I send both Vette and the Droid on crew missions then enter the starship, Vette is missing as usual but the helper droid is there as well when he's supposed to be on a crew mission. Also when I send her on a crew mission she used to say something as she leaves but now she's silent.
