So if you go to D drive and double click the launcher.exe in there it is working and saving data on D drive ?
- 7 years agoYes it did, it acted as if that was the first time I initiated the start up sequence for D drive's launcher. Just started up the patch, and logs folder immediately, seemed for some reason, only C drive's launcher was being short cutted until i cleared c drive, then D drive's launcher appeared. But both are working, as long as i only have one up at a time. Im going to use C drive for now since it has the most progress with the download, but if it stops downloading again ill use D drive.

C drive will likely not have enough space it needs about 40GB HDD space to install the game and that drive is only 120GB anyways.
if you want to try something different , delete the swtor folder on C drive completely
Then in D drive where launcher.exe is there will/should be a launcher.ini file , make the changes per this link
This will restart the install but it will likely be alot less troublesome for your system in the future
- 7 years agoProbably a good idea, because it says 100% installed, yet it is still fluctuating the byte speed drastically, and is still not ready to play.

using the change i linked in the previous post the entire game will need to be downloaded before you can play but like i said this should be more trouble free moving forward, so upfront pain for less issues later
- 7 years agoHopefully, I am now going to accept this as the answer because it did resolve the issue i was faced with, but dont worry with my luck we will be seeing each other again soon.
