Its simply a paywall. You can pay to earn quicker at start or later on and be higher than other players. the best thing for everyone to do is just auto it and leave it. People who will pay for it are creating a repetitive pay structure in the game. On their heads be it. Im doing my 1 or 2 a day just to get rewards and wont look too much at it,
The game is designed to make you feel you are losing out, half of these toons will probably useless soon
Not everyone pays the strategy he’s losing to is people buying the pass(actually has good value not everyone can) that’s a good bit of help but mainly they are buying characters with crystals which is what I do and I’m top 50 everyday in a tough shard relative to everyone before it
Yup pass only for me too, I have ranked 20-50 for me, I also spend crystals to get to 5 star. To be honest last Era was too FTP friendly and stopped me spending directly on Era. I have got the pass since before Era so I am happy it’s giving value.
