F2P is about to get shut out entirely. Which is not good because I like this game. There is absolutely no way I can compete with someone that is dumping hundreds of $$ into this game. Maybe EA and CG only want the whales to carry on in this game and if that is true then fine. But at least let us peasants know so we can bow out now.
Arena will be locked out for F2P in a week and GW in probably 2 weeks. At that point why should I continue to play? But I am going to make another prediction. Once all us F2P peasants make our way out the whales will get bored beating the snot out of each other and the game will become a shell of what it was.
You need F2P players to make a freemium game worth it for the payers. Once this is a game of payers only then the devs will see profits start to fall off. Way to kill a great game really early in its life.
