Hey All- Just thought I would post my 2 cents as well. I'm a moderate spender at about $40 a month. I was really looking forward to the new mods. I was one of the positive thinkers going into this. My hope was a small boost or bump here and there. A raise to potency by 10% total for one character or an increase in HP by 2000 for another.
The current system provides benefits in excess of 10 times this amount. I have Modded my Rey to 60K with health and protection. It really does not make too much sense in the long term. I now have no incentive to spend to get raid gear or refresh with crystals to try to get farmable loot. The mods are simply too powerful.
I love love love the other QOL measures that were implemented. I even like the complicated nature of the Mods. I'm excited to figure out how they all work. But I have no incentive to spend more money. I can get 5 decent sets of mods for fairly cheap. I can move them to other characters for pretty cheap. And then I'll be good to go at this point. I have no reason to spend much more that I can see.
Overall, nice work on the additions. Now just think about cutting the strength of the mods by 90%.

Yes I think they should convert all % gain stats to flat stats. There wouldn't be this craziness and it would have balanced some of the characters. Set bonuses (which should be limited to no duplicates) would still be %.
