160 GP TW threshold promotes abuse

Active GP: 160+ - 1600 + 3zeta
Active GP: 140M - 159.9M - 1525 + 3zeta

These rewards promote high GP guilds to downgrade into a lower tier, because not only are the combat situations easier. It is also easier to maintain a win streak.

Why even bother doing max tier, when the rewards are literally the same and its HARDER? This makes no sense.

Can you please change the rewards to actually entice whale guilds to stay in their own bracket? We are a 140-160GP guild that just got matched to a 230+mil GP guild, because of the "ACTIVE" GP instead of the "PASSIVE" GP. I DON'T BLAME THEM EITHER. I'd do the same in their position.

  • I don't see how 1/3rd of the members missing out on zetas helps a guild.
  • They don't miss out. Those merc to other guilds for the duration. Who wouldn't want to invite someone with an incredibly good roster? They will join their guild, milk it for the TW, and leave. Its a process that works, but undermines the general process that translates into a bad player experience.
  • You have a point there. Personally I only encountered the case of guilds dropping 4-5 members for easier match ups, but I see how this could be a more severe issue at the 160m threshold.
  • matchmaking isn't based on brackets, so dropping to a lower reward tier doesn't make a difference in terms of matchmaking.
Sandbagging does work, but that has nothing to do with the 160 threshold.
  • I’m in a 180gp guild with regular participation in tw in the 48-50 range...... we are sandbagged regularly
