2026 Team Lifter Wishlist

So with the recent add of characters from 4-Lom and Zuckuss to the current Marquee characters of Stormtrooper Luke etc., I feel its time to bring in new characters to lift older teams. I still wish they would touch up and rework characters but topic for another discussion. I feel there are teams that still need some sort of love. I hope we see this again going forward. Here is my list of teams that need lifters with some explanation added in. Yes there are a ton of things CG could do to improve the game with Quality of life, yet I would still like to see new characters give love to older ones. 

1st team is the Mauldalorians, or Dark Side Mandos. This is a team that needs a lifter to take the place of Jango. Yes at one time Maul was LV's lifter unit, but has been released with the addition of the Dark side clones(still should be retagged as the Imperial clones). We have many to choose from. Pre Vizsla to Battle of Mandalore Gar Saxon, to even dark side basic Mandos from the Old Republic era. We do have those in game which we fight during the unlocking Darth Revan event. Bendak Starkiller. Heck if they add more Dark side Mandos we could get 2 mando teams. One under Maul and one under another lead. Also having a rework to darth sion to work with sith Trio, we could see Savage also gain the tag and support under Maul on the mando team as a temporary Mando like they did with Lobot(which should be Droid).

Team 2 being Thrawn lead with other Imperials. We have yet to see Ruhk added or maybe an Imperial/Imperial Remnant Morgan Elsbeth. But these are some options to improve and allow players to use a fan favorite character. 

Team(s) 3 being more Mercenary leads. We only have Baylon, yet we don't have any other lead with this faction. It is time to boost this faction and atleast 2 new characters to lead them. We could get our final Hondo being the Veteran Pirate Hondo(yeah still be a pirate but still supports the mercs. Yes the Rebels Hondo), and maybe Calo Nord. A lead for both Bounty Hunters and Mercenaries. Im sure there are others I am missing but these are some I had Idea for. 

Teams 4 and 5 being both the Tuskens and Jawas. These factions could get a 6th unit to boost them up. Jawas could just keep the same synergy but have some more health recovery as well as durability and be used for those mass assist teams. Maybe add some Tenacity down to the team. A great option is Blizz from SWTOR for this faction. Tuskens really could use a 6th for another 3v3 option. But still working to counter those annoying turn meter teams. 

Team 6 being Droids. Droids come and go but yet we don't see massive support for them a ton aside from a random datacron and even then they still struggle. Maybe the GG sep droid team is the best  aside from DR Aphra with her new lifter, but I would like to see more support for other full or mixed droid teams. Kuiil and IG-11 should work with 5-0RT, yet Kuiil kills the Droid synergy. So giving us maybe more Astromechs would be a way to go, either dark or light. Even giving us the First order BB-9E could be a way to go as well. Boosting First Order a bit but mostly Aphra or other Droid teams. 

Team 7 HK-47 Droid team with a number of different HK- Assassin Droids or even leading Assassin droids. Since they don't like HK working with Darth Revan any more since Malgus stole Darth Revan. Maybe touch up his Loyalty to the maker to work fully under an HK-47 lead. HK-50, HK-51, HK-55, HK-87 are to name a few droids.
