2FA for account deletion when?

Today it was maybe someone else's account being permanently deleted by a random stranger. Tomorrow it could be anyone of us. It's a high time this issue needs to be addressed where accounts are wrongfully permanently deleted by others. There is no security or confirmation whether it is the actual account owner trying to get it deleted either. Just gain access, and boom, gone in a click. Please, make it safer for current players, it's a request.

As I expected, there was nothing helpful and the discussion was closed. My point still stands that there needs to be a solid confirmation before permanent account deletion.

You didn't answer the implied question but ok

But if you thoroughly read the linked thread, you’d realise that this wasn’t actually the case.

Nope, I still stand by my point for a 2FA even after reading the thread. Just an isolated 'incident' or case of buying or selling accounts doesn't really cancel out the fact that the security is so weak when it comes to deleting accounts forever in game.

Edit: Also added a word to my original post, "maybe", if that pleases you two enough :)
