It doesn't matter what the players say. We had a 40 plus page thread of 80% negative feedback on the ban wars and they still pushed ahead with it, only to determine that the players were right and it was a bad idea.
The devs are to dug in on what there idea of TW should be (a playful non serious game mode) vs what the player base sees it as (the only competitive game mode for guilds to compete with each other). Its funny because in an interview during the community out reach the devs did when Marvel Strike Force launched one of Carrie's critiques on the last dev regime was with mods and how the players viewed and used mods was completely different then what that dev regime had intended, which it's why things like mod management were so repressive.
This is probably the best post in the thread. The devs don’t listen to their customers. They do what they want, not what their customers want. Ultimately it will lead to the downfall of the game. I understand CG needs to make certain business decisions to make money, but screwing around with TW and turning it into a mode they like, not a mode their customers like, seems really short sighted and doesn’t make any financial sense. I guess their goal is to get people to gear up characters for 3v3 that they wouldn’t normally gear? Yah, that’s not happening. All you’re doing is alienating your customers.
I can’t say it more plainly than this “Quit trying to force stuff on us that we don’t want.”
