3v3 TW is a horrible idea. The people who say don’t join obviously don’t plan highly competitive TWs. Those of us who do have no desire for 3v3. Just think how hard it is dealing with one DR/BSF/Malak squad in GA then multiply that by 50. There is no grinding that down. On top of that it’s planned for a holiday weeeknd in the US so you will have huge availability problems. Please @CG_SBCrumb reconsider this plan.
Current guild is 48 and 3. Id say we plan pretty well.
Dont join if its too much work.
What's your guild's GP? Will you see 50 DR/Malak squads from your opponent? Have you faced DR/BSF/Malak in GA? Not joining is not an option. as others have said if you don't join TW, why even play the game. That's my opinion. I like TW, I like the competitive nature of it. I get on board with bonuses, because it does make you plan for different teams. I even supported the Thanos TW. Afterwards I hated it. I don't mind 3v3 GA, because if you at least try you will get 2nd place rewards. But the effort and coordination of TW is completely different.- The whining on this thread may be the most hilarious I've seen on these forums. Changing ONE TW seems be ruining the lives of countless individuals. The poor guild officers will be forced to spend days locked in their rooms preparing for the gargantuan task of teaching their members how to tackle the never-before-seen 3v3 format! How can they be expected to deal with such a change? What if their opponents have Malak? It's on a holiday in one country for gods sake! Doesn't CG understand that there are competitive guilds out there where a difference in one zeta-mat may result in the ultimate failure of their members? Change is bad and scary, so please leave things the same forever; that's how we want this game to be.
- My guess is that anyone who is interested in 3v3 TW isn't in one of the top TW guilds. I can immagine that for 90% of the guilds, this is a non-issue. Either they are fine with 2nd place, or if they have optional join, they win because they don't fight 50v50.
However, if you are in the other 10%, you are dreading it. The prospect of seeing a front wall of DR+Malak teams in 3v3 is not enjoyable in the least. And that's exactly what will happen with the top TW guilds. The winner will be the guild that kills the most DR teams. "Acrofales;c-1850646" wrote:
2) It's one of the main sources of zetas in the game. There are 4 TWs a month, and that translates to 4 extra zeta mats per month for guilds that consistently win over guilds that consistently lose. That is over 2 full zetas a year, and that's a big deal with repercussions in GA, arena and the speed you can prepare for pve content. The game has small rich get richer compound rewards all over the place and thus is one of them. It isn't "fun and playful" as long as it has serious rewards.
3v3 is happening once this month. If you lose because it's 3v3, that's a difference of one zeta mat a month. Barely more than half a full zeta a year, not over two full zeta a year. Like I said, it will be fine."NoMack;c-1850824" wrote:

I don't see whining, I see people who play this game for one reason (winning highly competitive TWs at the highest tiers) making logical and legitimate arguments as to why this is a terrible idea. What I do see is you bashing those people for no reason. If you'd like to make a coherent argument in support of this 3v3 TW, feel free to do so, but if you're purpose in posting is to point out that everyone else is a whiner, feel free to keep your opinions to yourself."NoMack;c-1850824" wrote:

I'm not asking for there to be no change, and it's obvious you don't understand how much time officers in guilds commit to helping their members succeed in GA and TW, that doesn't include time spent chasing down tickets or recruiting new members."Arus;c-1850658" wrote:

No, it's not interesting at all, it means the old strategy won't works anymore, and we need to put in hours and hours to figure out a new strategy for 3v3 tw.
And using new strategy with unknown consequences is always stressful!
If you're not being sarcastic you may need to take a step back and re-evaluate why you're playing. It's a video game. There's no reason to be getting that stressed out about it.
I'm playing it for fun, which is only provided when I know my strategy is going to work for sure, if it is not, then it's stressful, especially when you are in charge of tw commanding in your guild, all your guildmates are depending on you.
If you know your strategy is going to work for sure, that doesn’t sound like much of a game."NoMack;c-1850824" wrote:

The level of ignorance in this post is incredible.
One TW? Are you serious? They have been pulling this crap since the end of last year. We already only get 2/4 that most of us at the top consider a real TW due to the absurd buffs. This month we only get one.
Change is bad and scary? No-one is saying that. We are calling for change, but change for the sake of change doesn't make a bad change good. Its still a bad change.
One zeta mat? No-noone gives a redacted about tw rewards. They are horrible and CG doesn't care, we've made peace with that because its the only guild based competitive game mode and we like competition.
But please - keep your sarcastic comments about the effort I put into planning and running TW for my guild coming. Maybe we will face each other and enjoy bashing our rosters against Malak for 24 hours."TVF;c-1850839" wrote:

I do, but 3v3 in a TW format is really bad. As it has been said before if you see 50 DR/BSF/Malak squads, how are you going to beat that? they are taking away the only non mirror counter."TVF;c-1850839" wrote:

new? yes. But like @Skylicus said above, we're happy to see constructive change, we'd LOVE to see it. This is not an improvement, this is lazy and will be unenjoyable to the guilds that have 45-50 malaks on their rosters.
