In addition, the same type of titles would be nice for spending levels. ($0 - , $1-500, $500-1000, $1000-10000, $10000+)

Then don't use the title. ;) But hey, they could do it with any ranking concept. Grand Admiral, Admiral, Commander, Captain, Lieutenant, Ensign.
