This will make the new bottle neck getting to gear 11 and not 9 and 10. Games like this will always have a bottleneck and the previous bottleneck is usually resolved when something new comes out creating a new bottleneck.
If the bottleneck for gear 11 and 12 is not too bad they may keep us in the 9 and 10 one a little longer.
I did not feel the gear relief for G9/G10 when we went to G11 xD.
Thought he récent QoL made G7/G8 much easier.
The gear relief at the time was for the lower gear tiers such as getting to gear 8 which is even easier now. The relief will never be to bring you to the current max so gear 9 and 10 won't see relief until there is a bottleneck before a new max gear level.
Technically there will be 2 bottle necks but you will only see the earlier one as that is where you will be stick most.
So, you still desire to see bottleneck through cuffs and guns?
Part of the game is making decisions on what to farm if you did not have to make a decision the game would get rather boring.
If you only had to farm 1 piece of gear what would you do when you have built a supply up?
What would you do in the game if you could instantly get a character you unlock to max gear?
The gear bottleneck is a necessary evil to keep everyone playing the game.
They already have made changes to help such as putting the gear in the ship store but won't make it very easy to get until the next bottleneck is set up.
Devs would have incentive to make content for the 29 G11 (including a 7* GK) toons I have currently maybe?
I have no fun in gearing toon, Zeta or grinding. I have fun by theorycrafting and testing teams at the max of their potential, helping my guild mates improving their arena ranks.
What is the utility of releasing new characters for small spenders nowadays? I have 10 "grandmaster" quality 7* toons that would be worthy of gearing, so why would I excited by a new uber OP toon, gated by gear and shard wall?
The game is a marathon not a sprint.
Isn't the theory crafting before you have them at max potential? Once you have them and being fully geared, isn't it no longer theory?
I agree they don't seem to have much content geared towards "end game" or high lvl players.
HAAT is the best we have right now and ships could add to this. I'm sure more content is coming, but if you don't like the grind I think you are playing the wrong game.
