Abilities for JTR event

You might be able to. I think my squad was pretty similar, except my Rey was G10. I think my Rey and Finn also has maxed abilities, it in not sure it would have made a huge difference.

Don’t five up on the first couple tries. If you’ve tried 10 times and still can’t beat whatever level you’re on, then look at upgrading an ability with some omegas. You won’t regret upgrading Rey at least, she’s a necessary addition to the JTR team. Crazy damage.

I did it with g8 Finn, g8 BB8, g8 Vet Chewie, g8 Vet Han, and g9 Rey.

But we’re their abilities maxed or do you think I can do it with level 7’s

Finn and Rey had their omegas, and vet Chewie had his unique omega. No others on vet Chewie, vet Han, or BB8. If you mod your team well, you should be fine with your current gear and ability levels.
