It wasn't a post. It was on the stream with Hynsey before announcing the Mace rework if I remember correctly.
I believe they acknowledged that the change was intentional, but did not make any assessment as to the quality of the "job".
I remember it, they didn't say anything about it being a poor job. Doja I get the feeling wasn't allowed to say very much. They did say that refunds should be unconditional, which hasn't been the case.
The nuance of Crumbz' answer was one of resignation though. 'Yes, we realise this is/will cause issues'. He also gave a reason for the change; that being to push crystal purchases aimed at the player specifically.
1. Players don't need that.
2. That never happened.
It's a very poor change that has/is catching players out.
