Is there any secret to it beyond dumb luck? Use that find mods feature. That works a little or I just get excited by what it finds. Seems like a few refreshes of cantina energy are necessary. The mods as we upgrade them to get all the secondary stats are based on die rolls. Would love some super speedy secondary stats. Maybe if I upgrade them too quickly something gets lost. Getting pretty nerfy die rolls!!!Anyone have some theory about all this or advice on clever mod hunting?

TBH the mods with speed 10+ secondary I've never got after they changed things 3 days into mods when they removed a lot of stuff, IMO the best mods are the ones we got early on for speed secondary

If you buy mods - buy only blue with speed secondary. You'll have a 25% chance to get +15 speed and 50% chance to get +10Don't buy purple and gold if not a whale, too many disappointments

Farm a lot of them, only unpack green+ ones that already has a speed sec. as they come.

Buy em every chance you get. Usually see atleast 1 legit mod in shipments a day for a decent amount of cedits. (Never spend crystals on a mod lol)

People said basically the same in the thread: go for blue mods so you have highest chance to end with better secondary boost.

Not only the cost. The chance to get speed upgraded is too small with purple and gold. And it is quite big with blue ones. +15 speed is more than enough now

Probability methinks.

Blue Mod:
25% chance speed is upgraded twice (~15)
50% chance speed is upgraded once (~10)
25% chance of no upgrades

Purple Mod:
3.5% chance speed is upgraded all 3 times. (~20)
22% chance speed is upgraded twice (~15)
44% chance speed is upgraded once (~10)
30% chance of no upgrades.

Gold Mod:
0.39% chance speed is upgraded all 4 times (~25)
4.7% chance speed is upgraded 3 times (~20)
21% chance speed is upgraded twice (~15)
42% chance speed is upgraded once (~10)
31% chance of no upgrades

Basically a 25% chance of two upgrades or more (~15) no matter which of the 3 mods you choose.
