You're missing the entire point.

This is more about cgs double standard. Their selective banning (or unbanning); suspensions of proven cheaters over a ToS violation. Proof has been shown where cg negotiated with a confirmed cheater. Allowing them to have a slap on the wrist because they where a beta tester, and had a good account. They even got to choose when their one week suspension would begin. They had notice, they had communication with LD.. but now we have ahnalds account. An albeit minor infraction warrants an immediate ban? But cheating does not?

Well if you are banning one person for account sharing, better start working overtime to remove; I dunno, let's say 1/4th of your player base that shares accounts, has used mod services etc. They exist and they are done.

Well, they did say something was coming in June that would impact a wide swath of the player base....now we know

Add me to list of folks done dropping dimes on this game. You selectively apply the rules which diminishes the dollars I spend but then take away a Dude who actually increases my enjoyment, and hence your revenue. Get the finger.

This kinda reminds me of the fall of the Republic in Star Wars... The Jedi Council sees things only their way and nobody can be critical of them...
But at least that leads to the creation of the Galactic Empire...

Second , we all have known CG is full of it when it comes to cheaters. We have caught them in the past and will continue to catch them with their fork tongue words. They have no desire to do anything about cheating. Even certain YouTubers got their accounts back and are playing today. So CG negotiating with cheaters isnt a big surprise. Where I laugh is CG just got buried in the public opinion market by a YouTuber fresh out of law school. Says a lot about CG's legal team.

Third personal opinion, CG just needs to worry about the game and content. They swore up one side and down the other that content would be coming faster in 2020. That their performance **** in 2019. So far we still do jot have a road ahead post. Content is still slower then a **** coming from my butt, coming to the game. The GL event **** in all aspects. We now have crewless ships coming to the game (as if a crew was never needed) for any other ships and they are more powerful then the ships with crews. We got a few Mando characters that although are about B or C grade toons. They make no sense in the big picture of the game (as we have no light side BH) except those couple and they dont even synergize well with each other as they did in the show.


The point is CG a two faced company. That cant even be honest with their player base. I really hope Lucasfilm/ Lucasarts pulls all funding from CG and never gives them a another chance to destroy the fan base again by giving them rights to another game.

If a whale, a kraken, was "given" access to another acct, would the acct in question be banned? I doubt it. Why? Bad blood flows fast, they could let others know and lead a walkout like the one did on Clash of Clans. Anhald is expendable in their eyes, they can rattle their sabers and claim they dispensed justice. And for all the bluster here you'll keep playing and they know it. So... yeah. Status quo. Nothing changes.

You can't expect a warning about breaking TOS from a company that has been silent for the community in recent months. It is the worst relationship between a studio and the people who play your game. Shame CG, you should learn to handle better with your playerbase.
