Have you ever been to a restaurant and received a meal that wasn’t cooked well? You’re not a chef (presumably) so you don’t have the right to criticize the chef who made you a poor meal, right? Have you ever eaten another meal that was excellent that you could then compare to the poor meal you just ate? But again, you’re not a chef so you’d never say the meal could have been made better or worse, right?

You don’t need to be a writer to compare well written content vs poor written content, right? Or are you seriously suggesting only a true expert in a field can compare content in a specific field?

Lots of questions need answered. There’s 4 more episodes to answer them. I feel like in todays binge world everyone demands answers right away. Let the story evolve and then complain about what went unfinished. Pretty excited to see the story take off from here!

Literally off the top of my head. That dialog would have taken 20 seconds of screen time but would have added enormous context but, more importantly, we'd actually know what it is these people want and why they're doing what they're doing.

And then MrRandyWatson goes on the forums and complains

Why does Elsbeth think Thrawn can return her to her people? Who are her people? How do we know Thrawn is competent enough to get her back to her people? Why has Thrawn seen entire civilizations go to the brink? Which Civilizations? What has Thrawn shown to do that he is reliable enough?

Also no offense but Balen thinks Emperor is evil because? He led an empire and overthrew the republic? That Thrawn will end up doing? How do we know there is no greater future with the new republic why does he think that there is one with Thrawn? His statement is contradicting himself at the end by trying to get rid of a democratic New Republic in favor of a Thrawn led empire

As I've posited previously, the other galaxy is probably the Milky Way, but now I'm thinking it'll be in the past a few thousand years. That way they can explain how C3PO and R2 got in the hieroglyphics in Raiders of the Lost Ark.

One thing I do find funny is how we are all ok with so many people knowing what Anakin became. For decades only a handful of people knew but now it seems almost like every group of people we meet in movies of shows knows who Darth Vader is/was.

Episode 1 through 3: decent.
Episode 4: great.
