- LendersQuizSeasoned RookieI am totally fine with simming the tank raid provided that...CG does not screw up the interaction between a simmed tank raid and the Prestigious Quests. I know most of you don't care about quests but hear me out....
These are the three quests that care about what rank a person gets.
• Jedi Knight 4/4 - Earn rank 10 or higher 5 times in the HAAT Raid
• Jedi Master 1/4 - Earn rank 3 or Better 3 times in the HAAT Raid
• Jedi Master 4/4 - Earn Rank 1 in the HAAT Raid
There are of course more conditions to completing the above quests than just the rank a player receives in the Tank Raid. This list can be found here: https://swgoh.gg/db/quests/?type=4
Imagine having to ask your guild leadership to NOT sim the tank battles at least 9 times just for you to do these quests or having to leave your guild because you are a completionist and have a mild case of OCD.
Just image if you were part of a guild's leadership. You get the news that the Tank raid is now simmable. You are happy as you and the rest of your guild don't have waste time doing it for the uninspired rewards.
Little Johnny in your guild then sends you a message saying, "Hey boss man, I just started the Jedi Knight/Master quests and I need you to not sim the tank raid for at least 9 times"... You now have a choice, be a really mean guild leader and tell Johnny "too bad, so sad" or have to do the tank raid manually at least 9 more times...arg!
You also then think hmmmm, if Johnny needs to do it, maybe little Stevie needs to do it as well in a few weeks/months from now. What a pain in the rear end!
Don't worry kind people, Lenders Quizan is here and has the solution!!!
If the tank raid is simmed, everyone gets designated as a 1st place "winner"! Everyone gets the same"fantastic" rewards and little Johnny gets to continue with his quests. Johnny is happy, no downside for you, no downside for the rest of the guild.
Again, the rewards are lackluster to begin with, give 25th place rewards for all I care, just **DESIGNATE** everyone as 1st place just to not cause a problem with quests.
It would be far better to have CG address this from the get go so not to cause undue stress between some players and their guild leadership. - My guild is 150M+. We have guys who can solo the whole raid, and they enjoy doing it because it’s fun, and not always a guarantee, but they’d be lucky to hit 15M in HSR. All of us have 7* GK, most have DT, though only a couple of us at 7*. Only 2 of us can hit 50M+ in HSR. If either were able to be simmed, there would be enormous pressure from the ‘lazier’ members to just sim it so they could get better rewards with less effort, being a dis-incentive to work at the game to a point where most can do things easily. Yes, we could choose to not sim it and create friction in the guild, and why? So someone too lazy to hit auto can get a quicker way out. No thanks.
- Yah....Let’s ask CG for New Content because there is nothing to do and also ask to Sim all the raids...
.Why won’t they listen to us?? "TVF;c-1999399" wrote:

Meaningful content?? The Sith raid? For real???
The ONLY reason “some people” don’t want the Sith taid to be simmable, is damge scores, haha... thise who do 60-70M damage and is guaranteed rank 1, 2 or 3 have ABSOLUTELY no interest in this raid being simmble... understandably so... going as far as to calling it “meaningful” content... that’s a stretch ? Let’s just be honest here... why forfeit a guaranteed rank 1-3 for a shared rank 15 with worse rewards... that’s the only reason
I am consistent in saying I enjoy the Sith Raid and I think it's well designed. No one ever believes me but it's true.
Same for me, loved this raid from the very first day and still do."leef;c-1999693" wrote:

They are listening, they just don't agree with everything.
Also, it's not that strange to want new playable content because there's nothing to do, but also want the raids to be sim-able.
I was being facetious. I know they are listening. But from the threads I read you’d think the consensus is the opposite. The community is all over the place with what we want. CG Can’t please everyone.
It’s a little odd to ask for more content, because there is nothing to do, and also want to reduce things to do. How much we enjoy them is a separate and more important point to be raising.- My guild can't even sim the Pit raid yet...
- Yeah, there's no reason to make people sith through the tank raid. I run GG in phase 1 who does about 40% damage, and once phase 2 hits, it's jtr, c3p0, finn, bb8 and cls (they can do p1, it's just not reliable). from there it's just hit the auto button. Though sometimes the ai loses it's mind and won't target turrets and i have to redirect it. But there's like 5 or 6 different teams that can solo the entire raid.
- in all honestly i'm fine with just logging my 0 dmg, i'm fine with the players who still play them to get better rewards (or atleast more of them).
That being said, i would love a sim for all raids. - They have already announced that a new raid is coming to the game early last year. I think it's fair to assume that they will also roll out the HAAT sim around the same time as to not overwhelm those who are insanely easy to overwhelm.

You are only referring to end game players but not the average player base. In my guild, the highest score our top people get are 20 - 25 mil. GP each. We don't have tons of g13 characters yet and the raid takes a couple of hours, always depending on who is online, of course. "Some people" to use your term, make the mistake and think, just because some content is easy going for them, that would also be true for everyone else. ;)
