I have him sat at 7 star because I mistakenly thought Jedi would be awesome and got a rather rude awakening looking forward to doing some field testing before I report back.

So rey gets hit under 50%, still alive, buff procs.
(Like RGs taunt)
Rey gets killed the next round, does the buff procs aswell?

Or is it just to let the buff proc when someone is killed with more than 50%?
(Unlike RG who doesn't taunt)

I didn't read anything about his current AOE ability "Smite". I have it omega'd, I just hope I don't lose that omega mat once the update rolls through.

It will be replaced with Reckless Assault, and will therefore still be Omega'd. Don't worry.

I dont like the idea of being exposed. this skill will probably not get used much

If anything that basic change which increases buff immunity to a potential 70% chance... suddenly makes RG and STH look useless, especially behind a non-dodge leader.

Overall I do like the devs are taking weak characters and buffing them to the point of being anti-whatever the current meta or main complaint is!

The leadership ability looks like its designed to counter dodge/evasion teams. HOw effective it is remains to be seen... but I do like the way the devs are going rather than nerfing characters outright!

But as I said before these counters to the problematic abilities people are facing need to be produced faster so people have more options available to counter what ever seems to be the current community's major beef of the moment!

Gives you an added reason to bring along a debuffer like ackbar, ewok elder, lobot and similar!

This I swaying me in the direction of a potential Skywalker lead to see how the numbers stack up. I will report back once the patch goes live.

Why would they rework him to be a great leader? Wasn't he just a dangerous punk at this stage? Should be a DPS weapon instead.
