Everyone benefits from double drops. They get extra shards to spend in the shard store if they desire. And double drops events doesn’t happen often. The new update double shards drops aren’t for legendary toons or ships.
Nobody in their right mind would buy excess shards in GET stores.
Or nobody in their right minds, apart from you, would be happy to spend £10/$10 for just a thousand GET tokens.
