Anniversary???

I'm a noob. Started playing 1st or 2nd Dec 2015

It's a month away. I didn't expect to hear anything for a few weeks yet. Complaining prematurely doesn't help anything.

And I will comment that they have gotten much better recently with announcing routine things. The last couple of months we have gotten the calendar a few weeks early rather than two or three days late.

And doja has been great about responding

FYI, when I googled to find the exact date of the anniversary, the anniversary gift was announced on 11/21 to show up in accounts on 11/24.

So I don't know if 3 days warning is standard, but it's what we got with the 3rd anniversary, so we shouldn't expect more than that. I personally won't worry until 11/24 itself. Even then, they care about those anniversaries more than I do, so I'm not gonna get worked up over it.

The OP misremembered the month of the anniversary & thought it was in October. Based on that misperception, the 24th of the month was a perfectly fine time to start asking questions ... and also they didn't complain. They asked if they missed anything, which seems a perfectly reasonable question.

It can be, but why? There are always new players joining the game & those things are useful to them.

Also, Clone Wars Chewie shards might be "junk" but I'd be disappointed if I didn't get some around anniversary time. They took that junk & made it into an inside joke for the long-timers (while the newbs still need those shards, so everyone wins). Which is to say, even something that starts as junk won't necessarily stay that way.
