Another credit crunch thread...
TL;DR refer to title. I'm patient for shards, i'm patient for grinding insane amounts of gear at low drop rates but I cannot be patient any further than that and especially for something as mundan...

You claim you are broke trying to remain competetive in arena.
And there's no variation on your server. All the top teams are the same.
And your arena team is already maxed.
What the heck you need to spend credits on with a maxed arena team on a server that doesn't change and is all the same? Everyone plays the same toons, and yours are maxed. Ok. That means you can probably hope for top 50 or 100, daily without a refresh. Top spot if u want to spend 3 refreshes and 4 hours. Like everyone else on your server that has the same maxxed toons. That won't change no matter how much credits u have. Raid rank means next to squat. Once u have 10 to 15 7bstar toons u can join a heroic guild. I have never seen a guild require certain toon lvl, abilityblevel, or gear level. If u have x number of 7 star toons, u are good to go. And rank does not matter in the raid.
And... why do u need to stay competitive in arena. There are two thousand people on your server, and not all of them can remain in top 20 all the time. Dropping down in ranks is a temporary situation that will happen to any f2p and even the whales, time to time.
Can I beat all level 80 top 20 arena squads with lvl 70 team? Not usually. Except in the case of teams with a particular hard counter weakness, maybe.
But hey here is a thought. If you drop rate ranks, you can try this team on lowered ranked arena squads. That aren't maxed. And then u will have a pretty good idea if your idea works and on whom you should spend more resources for the long grind to max.
You complain the grind is so terribly long but u cant afford to temporarily drop rank? Does not make sense. The crystals you will lose for playing in low level arena for a week will only be 0.1 percent of the credit packs u apparently feel u need to level one toon to be useful. To figure out which toons you should finish off, maybe u should spend/waste a few crystals to help decide.
Having compulsion to "remain competitive in arena" does not mean everyone should get more crystals. How does that make u more competitive than anyone else when everyone gets this extra income? Unless u are a whale that buys shards and wants whaling to be more economical.
Not to mention u are flat out wrong that toons need to be level 80 to be useful in raids or gw, or even arena for that matter. Unless u are swimming in omegas, lvl 80 is not necessary to get most of the utility from bench toons.
