Reported that I won 2/3 matches against zaul teams, as told by my shard mates, and they said they haven't lost to me in weeks up to this point. Also didn't drop rank throughout the day until after my payout. They've said it's a much tougher matchup for them now. More data required I think, but so far so good.

I also saved gear and was able to gear 11 him yesterday. Unfortunately, my team was better without R2, but he's still a good trophy toon to have. I used to run Rex lead, chaze, gk, nihilus. I tried subbing in R2 for both nihilus and Chirrut, and the team wasn't as good during those trials. Today I'll be subbing out gk for R2, and will also try gk lead and sub out Rex. I'm hoping one of these setups is on par, or better, than my old team, but I don't have high hopes.
It looks like he fits very well into resistance and Jedi squads though, so I'll be working towards one of those.

I have noticed that as well, i would usually crush those teams when i had Aayla and now with R2, i can still win "fairly easy", but with a little bit of strugglin' indeed...

Also i would like to state that since yesterday when used R2, i've dropped from 1 to 8 overnight. Sounds promissing to me!!

Congrats! How are you doing against Maul + fast Assassin?

Absolutely destroyed them, even after they all went first :) GK's cleanse was key though, cause r2 got stunned.

Finished with all 5 of my squad still having protection left

Interesting. I can run that team except I am missing one gear piece (Mk 5 Stun Gun salvage) to get R2 to gear 11. Also, I didn't Zeta his Number Crunch (which shares 10% of R2's stats with his team), just his Combat Analysis.

In your opinion, the Zeta on his Number Crunch worth it?

@KyloRey totally worth it,Anakin hits like a truck now,even Yoda does decent damage lol

Yeah, I figured the offense boost from Number Crunch PLUS the offense boost from zQGJ's lead could potentially stack into some impressive offense boosts.

Against a zMaul team with a Sith Assassin that is faster than my Yoda, I still have no chance. If my Yoda is faster, I win. Against all other teams I have not lost a single match so far. Rex lead is super-easy, I didn't even lose protection on any character in some fights.

It's pretty fun to play in that setup because of the ridiculous amount of stuns. Typically two opponents are stunned at any point in the battle because I always call Aayla with Ezra's ability.

I wonder if you had Kenobi, if R2 would give you a chance. Still fun to see R2 stun all day long though!

From what I have heard from a shard mate, Kenobi helps in that case, but is no guaranteed win. The zMaul/Sith Assassin combo is just too much for a Jedi team.

GK will make a huge difference. Zaul + SA is easily beat able with GK even without R2. The only trouble I run into is a full Zaul team that has Zavage. Still deciding at the moment whether to go all in with R2 or build up Nihilus.

My JKA is critting for 18k with his basic when he is called to assist off qgj, without his righteous fury damage so ya hes hitting quite a bit harder now. I actually don't remember what he hit for before R2 but it was nothing worth noting.

Interesting. I am leaning on using my last Zeta (have 27 Zeta mats right now) on R2's Number Crunch just because I would like to run a full Jedi squad with R2 and not have to sub out.

But I am also considering Jyn's Zeta that gives Rebels 5% protection regain when they get a buff because I am also working on a Rogue One/R2 team comp that I may want to try in Arena also.

How do you mod him? He hits like a truck if you mod him like Wiggs.

I have a cd 4 piece set and cd triangle with a 2 piece potency set. His crit is at 47%. He hits hard when righteous fury is proc'd.

That's interesting. I use a Speed set and a Potency set. I got his speed up to 234 for Arena. I like him going more often because he has such a useful support kit and his stun on basic is very useful, like RG's.

I run Ackbar(L), Leia, St Han, Lando and Ezra. Thoughts on replacing Lando with R2?
