Arena Payout Sniping
Fix arena payout sniping, it is not competitive or fun to be locked out of your payout despite being able to hold the position for the majority of the day uncontested.

Yes to spectators and betting. My goodness at EST payout I wish you could do a Win/Place/Show for finishing top 3. I'd bet crystals on placement.

That would create several snipe points throughout the day, and would eliminate the cost effectiveness of refreshing arena at payout time (which encourages sniping). So, maybe you get sniped a bit throughout the day. But, your overall performance is what's awarded.

He's running maxed out Wedge (L), Biggs, Emperor Palpatine, Lando, ST Han (223 speed) at the moment. Unless his Emperor stuns my whole team, I beat him every time.
He switches to all the best teams and mods constantly and I am able to beat him, so no, I don't think anything really works on defense. I don't have to refresh to keep #1 and there are times that I don't even attack at payout time because I cannot and I still take #1.
I'm not sure why you guys are defending the current arena system. I'm all for gaining 400-500 crystals a day, but I would rather have a more competitive system in place.

And really, if we went to more payouts spread out throughout the day or time at certain ranks, it will actually hurt everyone since they'll be less crystals to go around. The way it works now, most of the top 25 in a given server can get top 3 at payout, meaning that everyone's getting 400+ crystals instead of 200 per day.
