I started with all gear 8 except chopper at 7.
Getting chopper to 8 made a noticable difference but could still not win. So i managed to get ezra to 9 with hera 1 piece away.
Didnt seem to help much but i managed to get good rng and do it in the end.
Best tip that helped me was to not use taunt unless to save an essential character. You need to spread the damage out neither kanan or chopper can survive long taunting
Of course then you need good rng. For example kanan got fractured first but i did not taunt with chopper or use back up plan and kanan luckily did not get targetted and recovered. Then ezra got fractured so i taunted chopper and used back up on chopper. He died revived and then i taunted with kanan. This saved ezra and chopper recovered again. I lost kanan at this point but was down to just thrawn this is were zeb was essential keeping him stunned
