Assault Battles - Forest Moon

Hi all,

I have noticed that the Forest Moon assault battle will be opening soon - I failed this miserably last time but I feel my Empire team has developed since then - As of yet, I have never completed any of the Assault Battles. Looking at the team I have, can anyone offer any advice - Will I be able to complete the normal difficulty trial with the characters I have?

- L82 Vader: g9
- L82 Moff Tarkin: g8
- L82 Royal Guard: g8
- L82 TFP: g9
- L82 Shoretrooper: g8

All their abilities are L7 and Vaders are all Omega'd.

    Use Vader to ability block an elder in round 5 or whatever that one is that spans revive. Stun the other elder

    He's tough at gear X. I'm about to go XI with him and X was by far the worst grind of it. But honestly if you have really good speedy mods to boost him with he's more than dangerous at IX or X.

    The Ewoks that can 1 shot you all have very low HP so having Ig-88 to AOE is very helpful. Depending on how it goes just try switching out for some of your empire characters and see what works best. You don't get punished for trying again and again, but I recommend starring up TFP more if you can as he'll hit harder.

    I'm actually 63/65 on TFP to 5* - Its taking the **** now, I've need 6x shards for the last 2 days and the drop rate has taken a turn for the worse!


    Pretend to farm something else for a day and go back. The game will think you're going for something else and decrease that drop rate and the TFP ones will go back to normal ;)

    I was able to finish the normal one. I used
    Tarkin g8 70 lvl 6*
    Vader g8 75 lvl 6*
    Tfp g7 68 lvl 5*
    Ig86 g7 76 lvl 6*
    Rg g8 78 lvl 5*
    Tarkin was the leader and my tfp's speed was over 200 with Tarkin's leader ability. Back then i was lvl 78-79. Also, my empire and droids were not so good. However, I managed to complete without having Palpatine. I think you can complete. It is important not to get any damage from the ewoks which has low health but huge DMG. Use Tfp, Tarkin, not vader to smash them immediately. Keep Vader's ability for the others. I hope this will help.

    Ep makes this event much, much easier. First time I beat normal tier it was last September with this team:
    Palpatine (Lead) 5* / gear 7 / lvl 65 / no mods
    Vader 5* / gear 8 / lvl 65 / no mods
    IG88 5* / gear 7 / lvl 65 / 1-star mods
    IG86 7* / gear 8 / lvl 73 / no mods
    Royal Guard 7* / gear 9 / lvl 80 / 3-star mods

    Good news - I actually managed to complete both the Normal tier and the difficult tier! I only got 1* on the difficult tier but was so pleased when I finished it!

    Congrats! Good news is 1* or 3*, you get the same rewards. Bad news is it may mess with any sort of OCD to not be 3* on something.
