Assault Battles - Resistance

I want to say that resistance had an assault battle at one point but were removed from it? I may just be old and confused (ok grandpa, let's get you to bed). Someone can set me straight on that if I'm wrong.

Resistance was a really popular faction in the first couple of years of the game. Finn lead dominated in LS TB and was doing some serious heavy lifting in the tank raid even before JTR came along. I think CG felt like they'd be 'giving it away' if they made an assault battle for resistance back then. I guess they just never came back around to it - though I'm not sure why. People took a hard left turn towards first order when GL Rey and SLKR were released. Finn's leadership nerf didn't help this situation. On top of that peoples irrational hate for Rose (who has been a great character since the day she was released and added another level of control to the JTR lineup back in the day) and things weren't looking good for the faction. It got so bad they had to put Zorii in the game to revitalize interest in the faction.

Really not sure why GL Rey was so unpopular for so long. She's amazing - always has been - and holds her own in GAC even today. Easily one of the strongest defensive teams in the game.

I'd love to see an AB for resistance - I got JTR during her first event, Rey was my first GL - I've been a fan of the faction since Scav Rey was the pinnacle of damage dealers in the game. Bring it on CG - my resistance characters are bored!
