Assault battles Endo

All three tiers beat with ease with HK (Lead), IG88, I886, Palp and vader. Droids are all g11, vader and palp g9

I really struggled on this event. Last time was a breeze with much weaker toons. I tried palp lead Vader RG TFP R2 kept failing. Then finally succeeded all tiers (with some very favourable rng) and some modest mods. This is the team I used, took about 10 attempts on bonus and second tier.

Hk g8
86 g8
88 g9
EP g11 (200+ speed)
R2 g 8 (only five star and modded for potency and crit not speed)

That was the only team which worked well for me.

I'll +1 that. There is no way someone using a full team of level 75, g8 characters could beat tier 1 of this.

I usually don't pass the fourth fight of tier 1 (only once did it with heavy casualties, lost immediate thereafter) with Palpatine (L) 7* g10 level 81, Vader 6* g8 level 70, Tie Pilot 6* g8 level 75, Royal Guard 5* g8 level 70, IG-88 7* g8 level 70. My mods aren't top-end by any means since only Palpatine is on my arena team, but they all have a full set of level 15 mostly 5-dots. The four Empire characters of the team plus my Captain Phasma (7* g8 level 81, modded with mostly potency for Rancor) destroy the second half of my Galactic War on a near-daily basis, but fall like dominoes here.

I was not expecting to be able to beat anything beyond tier 1 in this event, since neither Empire nor Droids are my main focus right now and I've not played long enough to have many g9+ characters yet, but I felt confident my Empire team with IG-88 as a filler attacker would be up to the task of at least this first tier. It's baffling that not only are they not, they can barely make it halfway, considering that two of them were key players in my beating another Assault Battle a month ago. (My Palpatine and Vader, together with Phasma and a weak Nihilus (3* g7 level 65) defeated tier 1 of the Jedi Assault Battle despite being only a 4-character team, and despite my Palpatine being two gear tiers weaker at the time. I can easily, confidently say that this event's tier 1 is significantly harder than that one's.)

Assault Battle events are geared towards end-game players to give them a challenge, they're not meant to be completed before then. Just understand that not every event is catered towards newer players. I actually think they could have tuned it a bit harder, I pretty much went unscathed even on the bonus tier and auto'd the others.

TM gain and AOE is your friend here. If you have the right team this is a breeze. I used HK, 88, 86, B2, and Palp all gear 11. I think the Ewoks took maybe 5 turns in the bonus tier (the two elders in 1 round used most of those). I don't have much speed on my droids.

Using a Vader lead probably isn't ideal because you don't get TM gain. For some people it's not so much as not having a team geared enough, but just not having the right characters to be able to take out the heavy hitting ewoks before they get a single turn.

Palp g11 (L), Vader g10, TFP g9, Tarkin g9, RG g8 - breezed right through all tiers, with the exception of the bonus tier where I had to switch out my previous Zader lead for aforementioned Palp lead, which I can recommended through all tiers if you run an Empire team.

The only reason some people with are having trouble I can come up with are: 1) you have no or otherwise really bad mods on one or multiple chars, 2) Your chars are undergeared (more than 3 are at g8, lower than g8 is unacceptable) and 3) You have not levelled their abilities enough. You might be able to get away with some of these inadequacies at tier I given that your tactics are solid, but it's going to be a rough ride regardless.

Finally, the rewards of this event aren't that amazing. The only valuable drops (that you can be assured of) are Teebo and Chirpa shards and your Teebo should've already been 7* by the time you reach the level to attempt this event. So honestly, even if you can't make it through tier 1, you haven't missed out on much.

I dont think I'm that bad a slouch... IDK. I did 3* both tiers last time and Zader and co can't seem to get me through any of them this time around.

The rewards aren't such that I care too much, and I love empire so it's reason enough to up my tar kin game.

That being said, I'm behind the other poor slobs here - CG needs to lay off their 'recommended' BS. It's just a source of furstration and then we all need to read it on the forum EVERY time these events come up.

So no, no level 75 player with a rag tag group of level 75 toons @ gear 8 is going to beat Tier 1. Meanwhile, CG's going onholiday...

holy moly. I am missing every other attack! Feels like they added a hidden dodge, crit avoidance, and defense up mechanic to these furballs. I'm able to clear tier 1 and 2 but bonus tier is giving me massive trouble with all the misses and low damage output on EE.

There was no need for the devs to change the difficulty of tier 1 for this event. The change didn't bring any more "challenge" to this event, all it did was infuriate players who are having their level 80+ , gear 8/9/10 character demolished at stage 4 of tier 1 or stage 8.

(why the fuck does EE in stage 8 get mass retribution and speed up? that's just retarded, if you're going to create events with certain characters, don't give them extra abilities they don't usually have).

Also wtf is up with the tenacity on the opposing team? my vader has 70% potency and he can't ability block any of the EE to save his life. Fix this sort of shit please, it's beyond a joke and isn't "challenging".

If you're going to "recommend" Level 75+ and Gear 8+ don't stealth change it so it's near impossible to finish for your average playerbase, i doubt ANY player at level 75 and gear 8 can get past stage 4.

And all you level 85, fully zeta'd team players can stfu about "oh this was soooo easy for me lololol l2p" . Of course it's easy when you have a fully zeta'd and geared team. I would be happy just to complete tier 1, but this change was unwarranted and ridiculous
