I just got kylo to 5*, it wasn't too difficult but it did take a few weeks as well as refreshes.
Rey on the other hand, was extremely frustrating to farm, I've only just unlocked her. I didn't get any help from chromiums so I had to do it the hard way. But it was worth it, she hits like a truck.
This game isn't pay-to-win, it's just pay-to get there a little bit faster.
