This game is disgusting now. Last night my wife was kind enough to plow through the first two areas of the mod levels making it to 3-3, so I got to wake up with a few mods to play around with before work. I decided to give some health/protection to my JE, and some damage to my IG-86. Now they're only 1*/2* mods, but what they gave was pretty sweet and disgusting.
My JE now has almost as much health as my 5* GL8 RG(he doesn't have mods yet), and my 7* GL8 IG-86 has had his dps double if not more. He's now hitting for 12k and higher with his tag team ability, guaranteeing one-shot kills against people without mods.
Now don't get me wrong, it's nice seeing my team do that much better, but if that's not a good sign of things to come. I've already been reading a bunch of ridiculous stuff regarding characters with 5* mods, and with what I've seen with 1*-2* mods, I completely understand where they're coming from.
I'd personally like to see this whole system removed, and have the characters actually balanced.
