Baze and shoretrooper

So I decided the other day that I wanted to start saving my crystals because I really wanna get baze and shore trooper. Atleast unlock them. I'm aware how ridiculous how many crystals it costs. But is it better just to save crystals and buy the shards so I know what I'm getting or save up enough to buy a bunch of chromium packs and maybe get lucky and not have to spend so much. I already have 25 shore trooper shards so I know he shouldn't take too long to farm. Not sure how frequent their drop rate is. I know recently I opened like 10 packs and got mostly shards for characters I already had maxed but you never know.

    Always go shipments when you want a specific character. The number of characters in Chromiums makes farming a specific character impossible.

    When you're early enough in the game where you don't have even half the characters, then Chromiums are great. You won't be getting too many characters you already have unlocked and you can get a lot of shards for characters you haven't even started on yet. But in the late game they're just not worth it anymore, unless you're farming shard shop currency I suppose.

    Up to you. You COULD get lucky like I did in my only ever 8 chromium purchase in my alt account. 3 full toons (Baze, HK—47 and Savage) with 10 shoretrooper shards lon the side.
    You could also be unlucky and not get a single shard of those you hope for.
