Beset on All Sides Event

The year thing was always approximate. I think they said "after a year" it would be made permanent, but 17months later is "after a year" so, y'know, you can trust any exact date. 

That said, they also always do it on a day when a regular game update is happening, which is normally once every 2 weeks but occasionally they skip one. That makes any time up to 13 months after initial release still comfortably within the "not less than, but not a lot more than 1 year" time frame. 

All of which is to say that I don't know, but just bc they haven't made it permanent already doesn't mean that they're totally changing the plan. It just means it's a bit later than we hoped.
