Era units levels

They definitely screwed us.  I was just upgrading and not really paying attention, so I was taking everyone to 110 one by one.  Now it is impossible for me to get ST to 110 which prevents me from taking Rotta to 6*.  On top of that, both Ward and R5 will be stuck in the 90's because CG is abysmal at communication of what is actually going on with these changes.  This is really the first time I have actually considered just selling my account and calling it a day.

CG think that if people are close to G13, then they'll just buy the pack. I won't do that, I won't bother getting everyone to 5* next time because there's no value in it

It's worse than that.  Even CG doesn't know what is going to happen with era and coliseum events.  There's not been a common-sense checker at CG for years.  And EA coming in to tell them how to be extra incompetent and anti-customer makes things even worse.  

I'd like to take a tour of CG just so I can see the EA types walking around with a clipboard writing devs up for making things in the game "too fun" or "work correctly the first time."  You're supposed to be planning for the game 3-5 years out, but you don't even know what's going to happen when each era character is released.

Last era I had all chars at 3* except KX and Partagaz at 4. With f2p only mats and no crystals spent on mats I was able to get the three-star toons to g12 and the last two to g13. This time I have spent way more, with all toons at four stars and the snowtrooper commander will hit five this week. If I end up with any of them below g12 because CG has skimped on the mats, I am quitting. So far Rotta and two others are at 110, one is stuck at 109, and the rest are at 85. It's not looking good, but after five years of watching CG get greedier and greedier I'm happy to call it a day.

So far the entire experience with the Era system has been a train wreck. It went from totally blind new P2W system to a colossal mess to a blatant bate and switch (and even more P2W) within just 3 eras. And don't get me started on the extremely tedious colosseum battles that you have to do every single day. And no, the borrowed toons haven't made it more fun. It has made it even more tedious because I know need to figure out which team is the best every time a new era toon comes out. 

I've been happy with getting the era toons to 5 stars for the first two eras, as it along with the era pass got me the new toons at R1 - and that was worth it. Seeing that my spending doesn't really give me any edge over completely F2P'ers in the current era, is extremely off putting.

Personally this will be the last era I put money into. No more passes, no more crystal packs. I'm so sick an tired of having the deal altered for the worse every time a new era comes around.  

Enough, CG. I can't be bothered by your clown show of an era system anymore.

There still is value, you'll save on about 1/3 of the G13 mats and also won't need to farm as much to 7*. Not to mention the LSTs that can still be useful.

Them dropping it is rubbish but overall we're still getting more than we used to with new character releases. Only thing Id say is that to get true value from those 6-7k of crystals is the episode pass will get you even more and feels designed to work in tandem as that gives the extra to get all to 110.

I realised something similar I invest more crystals to get to 6 star which previously gave a bunch of era materials in the journey guide and have had all but 1 era character at R0-R3 when released. I forgot to level up inquisitor barris not because I did not have the materials, I did not use her in coliseum and just forgot. Now I think most will be G12 with similar strategy as with the Andor era, I did spend a little on the anniversary era so would not be a fair comparison.

It is bad. TBH..I'm not sure if CG does math.

I buy the Episode pass and play everyday.

First era ended at relic 0 for all toons (this seemed as designed for 5 star toons)

Second era ended at relic 2 w zetas (this seemed like an error due to bad math so we were compensated)

Third era ended at ?. Right now G12+ if nothing changes.

I get it that ftp is supposed to reach Gear 12 (at least that was what was said by CG). So is the pay to play with new toons at 5 star equivalent to G12 too?  It's a big difference having to move 6 toons from G12+ to R0 vs starting at R0.  That's at least 8 raids worth of materials (sets us back a minimum 8 weeks)
