Best empire toons?

Im looking to start using an empire team as one of my teams and looking for who to use. I planned on using palpatine, vader, royal guard, and tfp. Not sure who to else to run. Is tarkin worth gearing ...

Shore is a solid addition. Pre taunt and with the cooldown reduction when dispelled he's you best option for a DS healer, taunt , and then th crit immunity is really helpful too.

Pre taunt in the long run is something you need or palp is an easy target.
