- Do you think that a:
Rex (L) Wiggs, Chaze
or
GK, Wiggs, Chaze (who lead ?)
Would work ? - Pretty sure a fast omega/zeta jyn could beat them. They are quite slow and every other turn she could take their tm and give it to herself. She has the ability to revive/ give 100% tm and advantage to a team mate. And can be made immune to stun. Lastly the protection recover from positive status effects with chaze present would keep health and protection up.
- You are asking how to beat a team that doesn't even exist yet and is currently impossible to get (not for long tho). Who knows, the team composition could suck and you might beat them easily. Although if I had to guess: not rebels, the anti rebel synergy is too much. Either way, wait until people have had some experience fighting this team, then there might be a direct answer on how to beat it.

What about zeta Yoda? His team will get 30% tm constantly. Those AOEs that cause multiple debuffs will grant 60 or 90% tm. Additionally, his tenacity up upon receiving a debuff makes it literally impossible for the automatic ability block to land.
This is it...
This team is going to be way better then people realize...
I hope at least... it's all dependent on if you gain multiple TM boosts for multiple resists
Has anyone tried it yet?
It's my next zeta... #5 goes to Yoda lead (tomorrow)
There are a few problems with Yoda Zeta though.
1) Tenacity gained from the lead itself is negligible against EP lead/Krennic lead potency.
2) You won't gain Tenacity Up until the very END of the turn in which the debuff is inflicted. Which means Empire teams can inflict multiple debuffs in one turn before the Tenacity Up kicks in. Zader will ruin you because of this.
3) Unlike B2, DT's dispel won't apply any negative effects which will still leave your team open for more debuffs. Jedi don't have a cleanse other than Bariss. - I've seen a bunch of these threads, and I keep feeling like it's people putting the cart before the horse.
You want to counter krennic and dt, I get that, but what is the exact team you're trying to counter? Most of the krennic teams I see listed/theorycrafted lack cleanses and run a single dispel. Additionally, most of these teams are slow, relying on tfp to magically stop the enemy from doing anything.
If krennic teams are silly enough to not run a cleanser, shock and daze will turn dt into a really cool, but slow character. Daze won't even let him assist.
If they are running krennic as the lead, shore and Kenobi both hard counter critical hits, leading to the prevention of the ability block trigger.
Heck, a boba behind a shore will be problematic for krennic simply due to his aoe.
But, you say, there are a million ways to counter boba/shore/gk. And I agree. So let's figure out what krennic dt team we are facing first.
TLDR: Cant counter a team that hasn't been defined yet. - Empire will be tough, Krennic lead has the potential to keep players locked out of their specials for most of the match. Players with good speed on their mods benefit greatly from this group. Here's kind of how I see it and a couple others have touched on it already. Here's what I'm think about when dealing with the following squad (assume max everything), Krennic, Deathtrooper, TFP, Shore, Vader
1. QGJ zeta, Yoda zeta on BM, JKA, Ahsoka or Aayla. QJG's foresight protects the opener from a fast TFP, and then Yoda should go second if he's modded decently and can BM to give everybody foresight again. The player needs to be aware of the speed of the best teams and their TFP, Yoda should follow TFP. QGJ should be 3rd or 4th depending on speed but overall the Jedi should be very fast. QGJ breaks Shore's taunt and then probably try and take out DT ASAP. AI Krennic opens with his AOE so you have 4 turns before you have worry about DT being revived.
2. Darth Maul zeta, Palp, Baze, Boba Fett (very fast), Kenobi or Vader. This should almost guarantee a decently modded Palp goes first and hope for a couple stuns. A fast Boba Fett can ability block Krennic for 2 turns and hopefully get a couple others. Maul issues AOE Daze to stop different tricks from going off, and then Kenobi can either be a 2nd tank and cleanser, or Vader can help lock them down with AOE slow and a big Culling Blade, not sure what's best there. Empire only have the 1 dispel so having Baze and Kenobi could be a strong play.
3. Run the same damn thing but run faster mods on everybody if you can and just overrun them with speed. LOL
Granted, the squad isn't out yet but many of us in my guild have maxed DT's gear, abilities, and assigned good Mods and have a good feeling for how he works and he's just going to be stronger with Krennic in-play. Krennic is pretty straightforward I think, so it's not hard to theorycraft solutions now so you can be kind of prepared. We'll see how it goes, this conversation could be different this time next week. - scuba758 years agoLegendZeta Maul lead. AoE daze, stealth removes deathmark, can't receive crit while stealthed.
- Throw all those tenacity up ideas out the window. Ability block from krennic lead is unresistable. It will bypass ten up. Cleansers are still useful since they will help keep your guys from getting blocked in the first place.
DT's dispel also takes effect before the damage is applied. Meaning he can crit through crit immunity buffs. Exceptions are maul lead and another Krooper.
Crit avoidance arrows should see some increase in value. - Rex lead, boba, chaze, gk
