Beware refreshing conquest energy towards the end of conquest

I swear when conquest gets close to the end and you need to finish those last few feats that every time you refresh the conquest energy the game gets significantly more difficult. Maybe I’m crazy. Maybe I’m a conspiracy theorist. Color me confused how I can lose 10 battles (13*…. I tried two more times before posting this) in a row with my bounty hunters against the first order node specifically when I’m at 19/20 victories.
