So boba executed 86 and rey killed 88. I tried to revive 88 with je on the next turn but he didn't come back. My best guess is rng chose 86 for the revive and bobas block made it not work. Any...

This should be WAI IMO. One smaller appeal to the Boba rework was that it was a counterbalance to revive toons. Gotta deal with Boba laying the smack down and adjust your strategy when facing him with droids/JE. Asking to allow a free revive regardless of if a toon like Boba blocked it with execute due to bad RNG isn't the answer.
